blood-drive

The decision to give blood was easy for me. I was born a natural giver and nurturer. In February I had lost my job and was forced to collect unemployment. Eventually I lost my home, my vehicle, my children were forced to live with their father and aunt and I was forced into an efficiency apartment with my significant other. I had virtually lost everything but still felt that need to help, nurture and give. I saw a sign at a local church that said they were desperate for blood and I immedietely made an appointment. I may not have money or belongings to donate, but I found a way to give the ultimate gift. The gift of life. And I have such an overwhelming feeling of love and nuturing which is me and who I am. I have decided to give blood every chance I am able from now on. My next appointment is November 5th and I cant wait!!
